Hard Hat Graft: privacy policy
Last updated: 23 October 2026
The short version: Hard Hat Graft collects nothing about you.
This policy covers the Hard Hat Graft game for iPhone ("the game"), made and published by Stu Crompton ("we", "us"). It does not cover the Hard Hat Way app or website, which have their own privacy policy.
What we collect
Nothing. The game does not collect, store, sell or share any personal information. It has no accounts or logins, no adverts, no analytics and no tracking of any kind, and it does not ask for your location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone.
Your saved game
Your progress is saved on your iPhone only, in the game's own storage. It never leaves your device and nobody else can see it, including us. Deleting the game deletes your saved game. If your iPhone backs up to iCloud or your computer, the saved game may be included in that backup, which is handled by Apple under its own terms.
Internet
The game works without an internet connection and does not send anything over the internet. At the end of the story there is a Share button: if you tap it, your iPhone's own share sheet opens with a short message and a link to this website, and you choose whether and where to send it. We never see what you share.
Crash reports
If you have agreed in your iPhone's settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may pass us anonymous crash reports. These contain no personal information. You can turn this off at any time in Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Analytics & Improvements.
Children
Because nothing is collected, the game is suitable for players of any age. It contains no adverts, no purchases, no chat and no links out except the Share button described above.
Changes
If the game ever changes in a way that affects your privacy, this page will be updated before that version of the game is released, and the date at the top will change.
