Where is Hard Hat Way available?
Hard Hat Way is available on the App Store worldwide. Whether you're laying bricks in London, framing houses in Texas, or tiling in Sydney — if you take pride in your trade, Hard Hat Way is for you.
Is Hard Hat Way free to use?
Yes. Hard Hat Way is free to download and use. We also offer a Pro subscription with additional features for tradespeople who want to get more out of the platform. Pro pricing and features are displayed within the app.
How do I create an account?
Download Hard Hat Way from the App Store and follow the sign-up process. You'll choose whether you're a Trade Operator or a Homeowner/Enthusiast, set up your profile, and you're ready to go.
How do I manage or cancel my Pro subscription?
All subscriptions are managed through Apple. To manage or cancel your subscription, go to your iPhone's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions and select Hard Hat Way. You can cancel at any time — your Pro access will continue until the end of the current billing period.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from within the app by going to Settings > Account > Delete Account. This will permanently delete your account and personal data. You can also email [email protected] to request deletion. See our Account Deletion page for full details.
How do I report inappropriate content?
Tap the report button on any post, comment, or profile that violates our guidelines. You can also email [email protected] with details. All reports are confidential.
Someone has used my content without permission. What do I do?
Report the content in-app or email [email protected] with the subject "Copyright Report". Include details of your original content and the infringing post. See our Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy for full details.
What is SiteCred?
SiteCred is Hard Hat Way's peer reputation system. It's built from endorsements, quality of engagement, and standing within the community. SiteCred scores are informational and do not guarantee the quality of any work or user.
What are Site Calls?
Site Calls is a feature that connects customers with local tradespeople. Customers can post a job they need doing, and nearby trades can express interest. It's not a guarantee of work — all arrangements are between users.
How is my data protected?
We take data protection seriously. Your data is stored securely using Firebase by Google, payments are processed by Apple, and we comply with applicable data protection laws including UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and CCPA. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
